Azura is an eco-boutique retreat on Benguerra Island and Mozambique’s first Carbon-Neutral Hotel. Located within the Marine National Park in the Bazaruto Archipelago, the “Robinson Crusoe” styled beach villas and Presidential Suite, were entirely hand built by members of the local community and constructed of natural materials. Stella and Christopher Bettany own the retreat in partnership with Gabriel Cossa and the local community.
